Last Saturday evening we enjoyed a very nice Club Christmas Celebration at the residence of FK Maarten and Kiwanette Nathalie. The food was delicious and answered to the taste of all FKs and Kiwanettes present. The ambiance was very cozy with a nive cool breeze from Ayo Rock Formation. The special decoration was courtesy of Kiwanettes Mary and Jeanette. The delicious fruit punch was prepared by Kiwanette Sharline (although she nor FK Giantonio could be present her due to a X-mas event of a certain bank…). And also, no pool incidents!!

A live auction by LTG Bob generated almost AWG 500,00 to go to our Charity Account. And if that is not enough good news to Treasurer Claudine…… FK Maarten reported that the expenses remained under budget!

Thanks to all FKs and Kiwanettes who made this Chrismas Celebration a big success.

During our previous General Meeting it was voted to substitute tomorrow’s GM (December 23) with the Club Christmas Celebration. This means…. no GM tomorrow!

Our last GM of the year will be on Wednesday December 30. Please reserve this date in your agenda. We are planning to make this an informal get-to-gether around the pool of Talk of The Town. FK Maarten is still in the process of making the final arrangements and will send you an update as soon as possible.

Not to forget about our Key Club: on December 15 a handful of FKs and LTG Bob attended the X-mas Celebration of the Key Club in the Holiday Inn Resort. During that same event no less than 19 new Key Clubbers were inducted!! Pabien to our Key Club and all FKs who dedicate time and energy to this club of promising youngsters.
